I know that Czino's "Concept Album" idea has already been ruled out, but perhaps the tracks chosen for this album should be at least chosen to compliment each other, to have varying moods on the album and so on - happy sad, dark bright, heavy light etc. I think this would work well, so that the tracks would run smoothly together, rather than just choosing songs from each artist with no consideration for how they will sound together as a unit. However, it must also be said that there is much variety in the artists contributing to this album and their styles. So perhaps it goes without saying that there will be some contrast on the album anyway.

I agree with this.
Although we're not going after a coherent concept album, we could at least be consistent with the general mood we're going to have.
It's going to be odd having an upbeat and bright song right next to a dark ambient one for example XD
