I just found out that my music also should get on this compilation. I thought that this board is actually just here so musicans can talk about whatever they want. Erik, told me about a compilation, but actually I thought he was on it with others people I love to hear, but I didn´t got it that I also should end up on this compilation. Minutes ago I found that out over youtube. So I´m very happy about this. Wow. Not sure what to say about it. Cool. Awesome. But what artists are on it? What tracks? Each artist just one track? Or also collaborations? Can we make a tracklist? And who makes the last mastering of this compilation? Can we record first the digital files to tape and than record it, mix it with a real analogue eq (etc) and again record this to a computer? And after this work again on the mastering? So the digital cold sound moves more away from our ear and the warm analogue sound gets more increased. So, ask and ask in this thread. I have so much tracks, not sure what I should let release. The main thing for me is not that we could make a cd with all the good artists for at home, but I want a good warm analogue mastering. Really, when I enjoy "AugZF" I really don´t like this cold digital sound. You really hear what´s analogue, but digital edited. He uses analogue equipment, but you notice whats analogue and whats digital. So can we find someone who´s really into mastering with old dusty equipment? A old dusty eq really would be enough, as long its sounding warm, golden and dusty. Hehe. Let´s produce our first cd and make Czino and others really sound analogue. I´m pretty sure their music will sound complete different and a lot better when its not anymore cold and pure digital. I know it. You know it. So, lets go! |

Ah you confused little mexican boy Okay since I know you haven't got that time to read through the whole forum The compilation will be published under the theme "Age of Manipulation" At the moment, I guess, we are: AMZ, Alopha, AugZF, Czino, Nitrostirumpa, falsewander, leccdoo, FAKTOR4, The Synchoron, KaosNGYN, perhaps some more(?) (@mrfish: you are/was musician too, rite? Are you going to contribute a song, too? We can contribute 1 or 2 tracks and there will be a booklet on whch you can present yourself ( prepare yourself for that And we haven't really discussed about the mastering, I think there will be a new topic, so we can discuss this, if necessary... lg Eric |

Hi konji, i don't use any analogue equipment, most of it now is software and occasionally Casio Privia which is digital I believe, so for me the battle is halfway won on making analogue sounds, got some cool new synths which i've been making tunes with that are copies of analogue gear, i have a preference over smooth waves, so i tend to use them if using synths, but i do record live from loops so that gives it a cooler studio feel! btw does anybody have a link to leecdo's music? never heard of him until a week ago and haven't got round to asking! |

hi again , nitro ! you are invited from the very first day !!! i understand that you are fighting for your sound - but , other people doing the same and we will find a way for it . drillobit , kaosgyn (don´t know it yet) and you - thought that you won´t get bothered with all the things around. i was just discret to you , on the other side - every time on board and heartly wellcome all the time !!! czino , aug zf , amz , konjunktion , leecodoo , falsewander , drillobit , alopha , synchronon , and kaosgyn . we haven´t get an answer from him right now - then we are 10. if he didn´t gave an answer - i like to get in with 40gr. schweinefleisch . so , hope , you can wait a little longer , because it´s a little difficult to get all - LINEAR ! and , nice to hear from you ... |

KaosNGYN is in, i forgot to post it...but he told me a couple of days that he is with it! Unfortunaly he still has no internetconnection, but we are staying in contact...he knows what's up, so we can count on him. @Nitro i don't think that mastering with our budget is possible. |
