INTERVIEW WITH AMZ

______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Could you explain how the music in your early years effected you and the music that you produce since years and today?

At my very early years of my life expierence...i used to listen to strange, distorted, piep-type kind of sounds from the LW and MW, that were from out of range of any radiostation, on the radio of my dad. I recorded them and kept listening to them, after the moment i got my first gameboy i recorded parts of the music from Super Mario Land or other games between the parts of the radiowavesounds. Sometimes when the audiotape got caught in the cassette deck, i tried to fix it, but it was upside down, so when i played it - it came out to played reversed which gave it a whole other sound. I had to listen to a lot of countrymusic in my early years, like Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson because my dad loved it. I also was on a concert of Johnny Cash in my early years and i hated it. But now i think in a other way about Cash's music. My first rap record i listened to was Mr.Dobalina from Del the funky homosapien...so i got infected with Rap...my first Cd was the Above the Rim O.S.T...as you can think i listenend to a lot of rap music. A little bit of Sonic Youth, Saul Williams, Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, Anti-Pop Consortium...at one night i saw Aphex Twin's Windowlicker on that M(K Ultra)Tv...which caught my interesst. Then came Drum'n'Bass / Jungle in my life trough Dj Hype, Ragga Twins, Bad Company and artist like them. Somewhere in 2005-2007 i started to do music for myself...

What kind of music are you listening to?

I listen to nature.
