Since months I´m very interested in Faktor4 as a person... I just know he´s a bit older... this interview really was a great idea... and i also would like to do a realtime interview per chat or so... on our homepage we can have different areas... one for interviews... one for pictures... one for music... one for buying HQ mp3 music from us (a online album in mastered premium quality for about 3,99 $ or so per mp3)... not to much... but 50 people buying this will make 199,50 $ for the artist... isn´t that a cool idea??!

so lets wait till they send me the interview with answers back! i will upload it right here so everypone can read the interviews! hehe..

INTERVIEW WITH CZINO

______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Could you explain how the music in your early years effected you and the music that you produce since years and today?

Well, I was always searching for good music. AS my interest grew I
started to listen to the Gorillaz later a lot to Linkin Park and Billy
Talent, Lexy and K-Paul were also quite cool, I thought. But I was never really satisfied with them. There was something missing. They sounded to similar in my mind, so I became bored. That's why I want to set high value on diversification. I want to escape out of patterns and I think I'm on the right way.

What kind of music are you listening to?

Ambient, Acid and music with clever beats in general. Okay it will be
often a mix of them, I mean there's not that genre. But I definitely
know that I do not ever want to listen to popmusic, trance and simple
"boom-boom techno". I want to listen to art and music that animates my imagination.

Where do you find the inspiration for your music?

The whole life offers a lot of inspiration, but mostly I'm inspired by
my melancholy and by persons I really love. I'm often inspired by
philosphical questions, too. When I am composing, I think a lot about
this and that. Of course the music by others raises question how some sounds are produced, that leads me to try many new things.

How old are you?

At the tender age of 19.

What´s your favourite drug?

Endorphins

What´s your favourite videogame?

Haha, "We love Katamari" ~ This game is awesome!

What´s your favourite musician at the moment?

A year ago I had said Aphex Twin, but now it is definitely
Nitrostirumpa.

What equipment do you use for your music?

At the moment I only use Reason4 and a simple USB-midi keyboard, pretty cheap I know... I've got a Casio CZ-3000 in charge, a present by my uncle, also known as Greyhound. I still need a nice sound card, so I can use it in a better way.

What kind of hobbies or interests do you have outside of music?

Beside music, I enjoy to draw or to write poems, but only if I am in
special mood. I want to get involved into philosophy and become more spiritual by meditating. I'm also very interested in dreaming,
especially lucid dreams.

What do you do on weekends? Do you do a lot of clubbing or do like to stay at home?

I prefer to stay at home and sometimes visit my friends. I do not
clubbing for a simple reason, in my sorroundings are only bad clubs, and also bad and drunken people in it. Here, where I live I only made bad experiences...

What are your all time top five albums?

It's hard to bring them into a specific order so I just list them:
"Rossz Csillag Allat Született" by Venetian Snares, "Richard D. James Album" and "Drukqs" by Aphex Twin, "Finally We Are No One" by múm and "They were wrong, so we drowned" by Liars.

Is there any singer you would really like to work with?

No, not really.

Did you ever played live?

Not yet, but I definitely want to do it sometime!

Could you please describe your genres in the exact order from your
musical beginning till now?

I started with ambient works but rapidly came into experimental music, I tried so many genres, there was a time when I tried to make some breakcore and classical tracks. But actually it's often a fusion out of the best genres. Theres is no real order, because I sometimes like to do this and eventually I'm working on something different.

Yeah you're right, it's interesting to learn something about each other :)

3.99$ per mp3, isn't that a bit much? ^^ Anyway, I hope the idea with a homepgae can be realized! :D

Oh and I see my interview is already up, yay

really cool Eric interview!

i think the most you could expect people to pay is around 79p / 79 cents, as this is what itunes charges, most people are familiar with that price for one mp3

you could maybe sell albums for around 4.99 like Bleep

INTERVIEW WITH NITROSTIRUMPA

______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Could you explain how the music in your early years effected you and the music that you produce since years and today?

It not inspired me. I just love the process of making music. I get very fast bored when things feel like a boring routine, so I change a lot what I do and the process how I do it. People often stop to early, when they feel satisfied about something and because of that I don´t like to feel very fast satisfied. I love to go trough things and ideas.

What kind of music are you listening to?

I listen to everything.

Where do you find the inspiration for your music?

All kinds of experiences, mostly daydreams.

How old are you?

28.

What´s your favourite drug?

Green Tea.

What´s your favourite videogame?

I´m not at all interested in videogames.

What´s your favourite musican at the moment?

Czino.

What equipment do you use for your music?

Waves Mercury Bundle, Native Instruments Reaktor, Adobe Audition, Arturia Storm, Audiomulch and few other things. I don´t have much, so I expand my imagination.

What kind of hobbies or interests do you have outside of music?

Meditation, drawing pictures, lucid dreaming and reading philosophical books from Immanuel Kant, Peter Sloterdijk and Friedrich Nietzsche.

What do you do on weekends? Do you do a lot of clubbing or do like to stay at home?

I like to stay at home on weekends and enjoy the silence, get inspired by myself sitting for hours on a couch and looking at the wall.

What are your all time top five albums?

"Big Soup" by Luke Vibert, "Selected Ambient Works II" by Aphex Twin, "Confield" by Autechre, "Moon Safari" by Air and "The End of Everything" by Voodoo Child.

Is there any singer you would really like to work with?

Joanna Newsom.

Did you ever played live?

One time. 1996 on a party at school. I was 14 years old and produced experimental ambient that I mixed with trip hop beats and recorded it over and over from tape to tape to create strange effects. I never played again live after that because I didn´t knew anyone that did the same things like me in a musical sense. Aphex Twin and Autechre I didn´t knew back than at all. I really thought that I´m the only one doing experimental electronica.

Could you please describe your genres in the exact order from your musical beginning till now?

Ambient, downtempo, trip hop, garage, handbag, breakcore, experimental.

INTERVIEW WITH AugZF

Could you explain how the music in your early years effected you and the music that you produce since years and today?

I think the first song I heard was 'You can't hurry love' by The Supremes, someone must have been playing a lot when I was very tiny, like an eyelash. The first tape I bought was Rap Attack which was simply awesome, with tunes by A Tribe Called Quest, Onyx and all the West Coast Hiphop, I listened to Radio 1 a lot when i was about 12 onwards Steve Lamacq's Evening Session was simply awesome, and introduced a lot of indie artists who went on to have success, i also found a little time to listen to John Peel which was also amazing, RIP! I then got into drum and bass and pretty much anything you could shake a stick at, and yes, I love Goatsniffer and I find myself influenced by a lot of stuff on WARP and Planet Mu.

What kind of music are you listening to?

Anything, Korean girl groups, world music, Joseph Arthur, dubstep, Japanese Gabba....

Where do you find the inspiration for your music?

I make it without thinking, I get a feel and run with it, sometimes I will plan what instruments I will add to a track, but I never envisage the outcome, just accept what comes and what sounds 'right' yet is different enough from my last track I am always progressing.

How old are you?

30.

What´s your favourite drug?

Yerba Mate, Salvia

What´s your favourite videogame?

Classic: Elite II Now: COD4

What´s your favourite musican at the moment?

A hard one, but i'd probably say Autechre, as there is so much to explore, and the experiments don't always work, the beauty of the process.

FL Studio, NCH Wavepad, Adobe Premiere (nice audio toolz) a fair few VSTs inc Native Instruments Massive, voice, keyboard: Casio SA-1 plus Casio Privia PX-310

What kind of hobbies or interests do you have outside of music?

Drawing, reading all kinds of books especially SF, playing the odd videogame, world cinema films

What do you do on weekends? Do you do a lot of clubbing or do like to stay at home?

I make chunes, watch films, read, find out where the cat is, sleep during the day, drink strong coffee then watch Masion Ikkoku

Seal - Seal II, VS - Rossz csillag alatt született, Geinoh Yamashirogumi - Ecophony Rinne, Bob Dylan - The Freewheelin', Dreadzone - Second Light

lofi, ambient, breakbeat, idm, experimental
